Banana Bread

INGREDIENTS:
2 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons butter
1-1/2 cups white sugar
1-1/2 eggs
3 very ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease 9х9 inch baking pan. In a small bowl, stir together sugar and cinnamon. Dust pans lightly with cinnamon and sugar mixture.


In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Mix in eggs, mashed bananas, sour cream, vanilla and cinnamon. Mix in salt, baking soda and flour. Stir in nuts. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 1 hour, until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
